Baan Thaï

We are Thai and would like to eat Thai food during our trip. This place is very close to the old town and our hotel. We ordered Tomyum Pla, Phad Phed Goong (Shrimp) and Thai omelette. All food are delicious, authentic taste. The owners are kind and very friendly. Food price is not expensive.

We got here right as they open at 7pm and we're the first ones there. The waitress greeted us and brought us the menu. The food took a while to come. We ordered Tom yam seafood soup and fish tom yam with fried rice, sauté beans spouts and plain white rice. When to soups came, the lady had to stir it to see which is which and realized that mine was chicken and NOT fish like ordered. She then took it back to the kitchen and several minutes later came back with the right order. The reason for a 3 star for food; is because not only she brought the wrong order, it was so salty on top of that, I couldn't eat it with pleasure, I more like force myself to eat it as the price is not cheap. My husband's soup was taste as expected, though we asked for very spicy, it was not, but still the taste was good. I am very disappointed on my soup...:( The restaurant is very nice and clean, so is the bathroom.

Service 15/10 the owner/server gentleman is very nice Food is really tasty and authentic If you like REALLY SPICY , like Thai spicy level, tell them. If not, also tell them. We are asians so they assumed i think, and made it too spicy for us still tasty tho. So we had to tell the server man to remake it. He was still very nice about it and didn’t charge more. Overall it costed 23e~ for each person (3 people 4 dishes) so not bad

We were visiting from the US and wanted to try some Thai food here in Europe. The dishes here were excellent - prepared with fresh authentic ingredients with well-balanced flavors. It is one of the most authentic Thai restaurants we’ve ever eaten at outside of Thailand. Excellent curries and delicious tom yum soup.

We stop by for two nights in Strasbourg and craving for Asian food. We were surprised with the authenticity of the thai food. The tom yum soup was amazing.

Delicious food, loads of flavour. Service was slow, but the servers were incredibly kind, and it's got to take a while to cook something as delicious as this was! My only warning is that the "Duck with pineapple" dish was far too sweet for the 3 of us there, but I still enjoyed it. Thank you.

I visited this restaurant the second time yesterday and it was still as good as I remember. Authentic Thai taste, super close to the one in Thailand. Probably the best Thai resto in France. I will definitely come again.
